To make this piece, I made a ghost print of Sunset and then followed with a second plate inked with titanium white. Looking at The Silence of Winter Snow, I find myself thinking back on those winter snow falls when our corgis Zoe and Chloe were joyfully running through the newly fallen snow. Just this morning, our new puppy, Sophie, was happily maintaining this tradition. I think that Sunset and The Silence of Winter Snow would look very nice if framed together.
