When my father was a teenager, he lived near San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco. On warm days, he and his friends would head down to a spot on San Francisco Bay and go swimming. Whenever I pass this area going from the airport to downtown San Francisco, I think of my youthful father. This work on canvas is part of that remembrance.
