When I was an undergraduate at Berkeley, a friend and I would drive up in the hills above the campus just as the sun was setting behind San Francisco. When the fog wasn’t in, the view was spectacular – the oranges, reds, and yellows dominating the lighter blue of the sky. On some evenings, one had the feeling that the sky was engaged in some type of dance – the kind we used to do at the Fillmore Auditorium
