When I was about 12 years old, I decided, for reasons I don’t remember, to purchase a classical record. When I asked the clerk what might be of interest, he recommended Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto. After listening to this work, I knew that classical music would be a big part of my life. Symphonic Movement is dedicated to the energy and joy that classical music has given to me for so many years.
